About Me
I was born in Richmond, Ca and lived and worked in the Bay Area most of my life. In the mid 90’s I started a very rewarding and lucrative career as a Technical recruiter (not a Headhunter) in the south bay area. I enjoyed much success and developed some great relationships with the people that I represented as well as the companies that hired them. I worked extremely hard to develop a reputation of Honesty, Professionalism and high Ethical standards. After about two and a half years in the industry I became known for those qualities throughout the Bay Area because of how I treated people. After the “Dot Bomb” of 2001, I was out of work and struggled to make ends meet for the next 6 years. In June of 2007 I started The Cartridge Doctor after managing a local cartridge refilling store. While there I learned the trade and successfully refilling well over 900 ink cartridges and worked with 95% of the inkjet cartridges on the market. I learned about the importance of using Quality inks. Inks formulated to closely match (without infringing on patents) that of the original printer manufacturer. I don’t use or endorse Universal inks. I only use high quality Pigmented inks, not Dye based inks. Only the best for my customers.
MY APPROACH……WHY MOBILE
Day after day, week after week and month after month I saw countless customers driving all over town to try to find the inks that they needed and they would finally find us and we would take care of them. When I started The Cartridge Doctor I knew that I would have to be mobile for 3 reasons.
- To be Convenient for my customers. No more driving all over town.
- Without the overhead of renting space, my Prices would be fantastic.
- To provide Awesome Customer Service to my customers by being there in person to test the cartridges on your own printer to make sure it performs to your satisfaction.
Top Off Rate
Sometimes customers would come into the store with color cartridges that were only out of one of the three colors. Unfortunately, they were charged the full refill price. They didn’t think it was fair, neither did I. The Cartridge Doctor offers it’s customers a Top Off Rate in those instances. See Inkjet price list for details.
MY GUARANTEE
If I determine that I can refill your particular type of ink cartridge. I will come to your home or office and refill your ink cartridges or replace them with my own remanufactured cartridges and test them on your printer. If for what ever reason it doesn’t work, YOU DON’T PAY! Also, if the cartridge fails within a week of installation (some exceptions may apply), I will come back out to your location to resolve any issues. If I can’t resolve them, I will replace the cartridge at my expense, or refund your money. You have NOTHING to lose by doing business with The Cartridge Doctor, not even GAS.
